I’ve been feeding Evo by Innova. However, I figure that a “perfect” formula for dog food does not exist. So, I like to change dog food periodically. So in March 2008 I tried a bag of Nature’s Variety Instinct - Chicken Meal Formula. Ritka likes it ok, but it seems expensive. One thing I like is that it is one of the few that they list Energy content (3896 kCal/kg) or 490 Kcal/cup - calculate rather than measured - but most dog foods don’t list energy at all. Both EVO and this food are grain free diets. Actually I don’t think Ritka has a problem with grain, so her next dog food will have grain.
